研究领域:
心血管疾病是危害人类健康的最主要杀手,特别是缺血性心脏病。糖尿病不可怕,糖尿病的并发症是患者致死的主要原因。糖尿病诱发的心血管疾病致死率极高,其都与心肌细胞和血管细胞的缺血、缺氧密切相关。
众所周知,人口老龄化是当今世界一个突出性的社会问题,我国人口老龄化发展速度尤其之快。减缓衰老,特别是减缓心肌细胞衰老,提高老年人的生活质量,已经成为全社会研究的热点。
继一氧化氮(NO)和一氧化碳(CO)之后,硫化氢(H2S)是新发现的一种内源性气体信号分子。H2S 具有广泛的生物学效应,例如,抑制细胞增殖、炎症反应,调控凋亡、氧化应激、线粒体通透转换孔(mPTP)、离子通道及细胞信号转导通路等。
实验室目前主要的研究方向如下:
(一)H2S在糖尿病血管平滑肌细胞增殖中的作用及机制;
(二)H2S在心肌细胞衰老中的作用及机制。
